- Halbgeviertstrich is a (half-length) long dash. Used as:
- Gedankenstrich (like parentheses, “beat"s, etc.)
- Bis-strich - “steht für das gesprochene Wort ‘Bis’”: (“A-Z”)
- Gegenstrich (“Roma-Napoli”)
- Kurzstrich AKA Viertelgeviertstrich AKA “minus”
- Bindestrich (“H-Milch”)
